What is the SDG User Profile?

The SDG User profile aims to highlight the contribution that each individual can make towards achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda, by developing and promoting a sustainable approach in everyday life.

This is a major program involving 193 UN member countries, through which more and more companies are incorporating sustainability objectives into their business plans.

The certification is individual and open to everyone. Becoming a Test Center Sustainability with Certiskill is a unique opportunity for schools, companies, and organizations to enhance the sustainability knowledge and skills of students, teachers, and citizens.

Objectives

The level of autonomy and responsibility required for the SDG User profile corresponds to EQF Level 1 in the QNQ classification (Recommendation 2017/C189/03, Annex II). The reference documentation on knowledge and skills for the exam is UNI Pdr 109.2:2021.

An individual who earns the SDG User certification will be able to:

  • Understand and stay updated on the 2030 goals
  • Apply, as much as possible, the principles of the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals
  • Understand the basics of the 169 indicators, monitoring their application in daily social, economic, and environmental life
  • Contribute to and maintain a sustainable approach in social, economic, and environmental aspects at all roles and levels within an organization
  • Raise daily awareness about the 17 goals
  • Evaluate their own behavior in relation to the 17 goals
  • Know the 5 Ps (People, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership, Planet)
  • Embrace, disseminate, and share the principles of the SDGs
  • Adopt responsible behaviors in the context of the SDGs.

These skills are globally recognized, as the certification is accredited by Accredia at an international level.

Training

Would you like to train students, teachers, and citizens before initiating the certification session?

The training course is available in Digital Learning mode and is verified by Intertek Italia. Educational materials, e-books, video lessons, and tests with training modules are provided to deepen the sustainability topics already covered in civic education, enhancing your school’s educational offerings!

Exam format

The exam will be conducted on the Intertek portal and consists of a repeatable online test with 30 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes (a passing score requires 70% correct answers).

Upon passing the exam, you will be registered with the national Accredia registry and included in future National and European directories. You will receive your certificate in PDF format and an Open Badge. The certification lasts 3 years and can be renewed afterward.
